Holidays Homework Reminder

Kia Orana to our Whanau and Caregivers,

WRITING - This is just a humble reminder for our Dedicated Dragons' families as they had received Holidays Homework from Mrs. Kaur which is to complete 5 different writing stories on the given paper about their family experiences such as trips to the beach, park, Pak 'n' Save, Countdown, New World, friends/cousins birthday parties, sleepover at their Grandparents/cousins home, etc.

High-Frequency Words according to their Reading Levels - Keep learning your high-frequency words as they will help you a lot while reading books either with the teacher or independently.

Essential Spelling List words -   Also, keep memorising the spellings from the list in your spelling books too. As they will help you during writing and reading.

Remember to bring all the homework back to Mrs. Kaur for her to check i.e. your written stories, high-frequency words on the coloured paper, and last but not the least the spelling books as well. Enjoy your holidays with a bit of learning too. 👍 😀  😃

REMINDER TO VISIT THE LOCAL LIBRARIES - Remember Mrs. Kaur also told to try to visit the local Auckland Libraries to read a range of books. Whanau please encourage your children to read at home. Try and make reading fun and enjoyable. If kids get stuck, remind them to think about what he/she can use to help him/her. You can also talk about what happened in the story.
