Best Decorated Duffy Box Winners & Our Duffy Books :)

Dear Parents and Caregivers, 

Our Rowandale School's Whanau is very fortunate to be a part of a Duffy School. As kids get the opportunity to choose their own free new books every term to read at home or anywhere. 

Before receiving our Duffy Books, Mrs. Lightfoot had asked us to decorate our Duffy Box as a book character of our choice. Then Mrs. Kaur asked the whole class and the majority of us voted for LEGO. We were so excited and dedicated to participating by colouring our own Lego character beautifully. We tried our really hard to make our Duffy Box look great and the best of all.

Finally, our Duffy Box was declared as the best decorated of all by Louisa Wall (Local MP, Manurewa) because everyone had participated from our class. KA PAI !!! Dedicated Dragons... 👏 👏 👏 👏 😄 😄 😄 😄

Duffy Theatre - Ways to stop Global Warming

Kia Ora lovely Whanau & Caring Caregivers,

In week 10 on Wednesday, Dedicated Dragons were extremely delighted to see Duffy Theatre Show. We thoroughly enjoyed each and every moment of the show. Also, the performance was quite engaging and inspiring too. 

The show was about the ways we can adopt to stop Global Warming to save our planet by planting more trees and lots of other ways. And there was another strong emphasis on the importance of reading every day.

WEEK - 10 Award Winners

In week 10 on Friday, Rowandale School celebrated the massive whole school assembly to mark the end of the term 2. And here is the week 10 award winners from our class were awarded for DETERMINATION & Duffy's Caught Being Good.

Elisa Lolo (on the left-hand side) had received Caught Being Good award for always staying focused on her tasks and reminding others too during the reading tumble. Great job !!! Elisa Mrs. Kaur is proud of you 👍👍👍👍


Tufala Tagoai (on the right-hand side) had received Determination Award for always showing her best attitude in all the learning areas and never giving up on anything. Awesome Tufala Mrs. Kaur is proud of you

FMS - Fun filled last session of Term 2

The last session of FMS-fundamental movement skills was fully enjoyed by Room-8. As it was a follow-up session after learning the skill i.e. Sprinting along with some cool fun games.

FMS - New Skill Sprinting

Last Week on Wednesday, we learned another new skill - Sprinting. Before we started we played Octopus game first as a warm up. We had so much fun in learning the techniques for fast running and we would like to say Thank you, Coaches, for coming to teach us.
