House Sports - Friday Fun

The Dedicated Dragons had enjoyed a lot the House Events organised by Whaea Lois and the Team Leaders. Last but not the least ZUMBA organised by Mrs Sagote in the hall. KA PAI to all !!! We would like to say thank you for making our Friday so much FUN.

Duffy Role Model Assembly - Brodie Kane

Duffy Role Model-Brodie Kane 

Last week, we were very excited to know about our Duffy Role Model Assembly and receiving our Duffy books 😀  later on. Before our assembly, we talked about Brodie Kane who she is, where is she from, what does she do and her accomplishments. 

It was really interesting for us to find out that prior to becoming an award-winning journalist she used to be a Surf Life Saver. She has also served in the Territorial Force of the NZ Army for four years. As the TVNZ reporter, she is now a part of the Breakfast show on TVOne. She had also shared the importance and her passion towards reading as well.

With our Duffy Books- We couldn't wait too long 

There was something really special and funny Wyatt said to me, "It's ok Mrs Kaur if we didn't win anything for our Duffy Box at least we have got out Duffy Books".  I laughed a lot as that was something really cute and made my DAY.
